how beautiful to paint the falling snow. it is so quiet and i am so out of practice but i love this effect. used chinese white to show the opaqueness of the snow and sky while the snow is falling so hard. the orange are the beech tree leaves which do not fall off until spring when the new leaves emerge and push them off the tree, sort of like Sean's second tooth he lost Thursday.
