This landscape was painted at a Paint Out in Madison in tandem with their annual Tour of Homes. Madison is on the antebellum trail and have many beautiful old homes open to the public at this time of year. This particular scene is at The Oaks and is the horse pasture next to the house. During the silent auction on Sat. evening this painting and a small w/c on gesso sold and I was happy. The best painting is one you don't have to bring home. hooray.
