This quick painting shows the volatile weather in Chicago's afternoon and evening hours. Here in Atlanta we get storms like this at 3 or 4 in the morning. I love the energy in the clouds and the flatness of the land. Painted from the deck off the second floor in the back facing west. I do miss the stormy weather (not the icy cold) $70 original watercolor painting.
